Fire in Novara, motorhome destroyed by flames on Via Liguria

Firefighters extinguished a blaze involving a motorhome and a nearby parked car on the evening of March 23 on Via Liguria in Novara. The fire spread from the motorhome to the car, with no injuries reported.

Politicians Veronica Verlicchi and Sergio Silvestrini have proposed establishing a regulated area for camper parking and free camping in Lido Adriano. They noted the increase in camper numbers and lack of infrastructure, leading to improvised parking. Police in Gaeta arrested two men aged 22 and 32 while they were attempting to sell a motorhome online that was allegedly obtained through fraud. The vehicle was seized at the commercial port of Formia, where the sellers had already collected a 300 euro deposit from a potential buyer. The men used fake license plates and documents, and the motorhome was uninsured. They have been charged with fraud and attempted fraud.
