In Ånge municipality, on August 4, 2026, a caravan burned to the ground. According to the owner, the fire started for an unclear reason. The alarm was received by SOS Alarm shortly before 16:00, and by the time firefighters arrived, the caravan was fully engulfed in flames. No one was injured.
Earlier, on July 24, at 15:37, a report came in about a caravan fire in a central parking lot (presumably in Strängnäs). Fire services responded; no injuries were reported. Both incidents are under investigation.
