In Croatia, on the island of Cres, a severe storm with hail knocked a pine tree onto a camper van at the Kovačine campsite. The incident occurred around midnight, blocking the exit from the vehicle. Firefighters from the Cres volunteer fire department used chainsaws to remove the tree and clear the passage, allowing the occupants to exit safely.
