The incident occurred in Venturina at the Conad service area on Via dell'Agricoltura. A camper van near a fuel pump caught fire, sending a column of black smoke visible several kilometres away. The area was evacuated, fire crews arrived and began extinguishing the blaze; the cause of the fire has not yet been established.
