Four young people from Salento were transporting 85 kg of marijuana in a rented motorhome. They were stopped on May 24 at the Spanish-French border. A couple from Ugento (both aged 20) was arrested and transferred to Perpignan prison. Two others from Taurisano are under investigation. The drugs were packed in bricks and hidden inside the vehicle.
