On Wednesday, a severe fire broke out in the Mennonite settlement 2A on Manitoba Street in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, destroying several motorhomes. According to sources, at least three vehicles and a pickup truck were damaged. Flames spread quickly, with smoke columns visible for kilometers.
Firefighters and civil protection units worked for over an hour but could not save the vehicles. Owners stated the motorhomes belonged to a buy-and-sell business; damage is estimated at 1.3 million pesos. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
