Late on the evening of May 17, a static caravan caught fire on Wapley Road in Codrington, near Yate. The blaze spread to neighbouring farm outbuildings. Firefighters from Yate, Bath and Bedminster used high-pressure hoses and water jets; four crew members wore breathing apparatus. The cause was deemed accidental, and no one was hurt.

A second incident took place in the village of Warthill near York. According to North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, the fire started in a caravan around 1:35 am on May 19 and spread to an adjacent unoccupied building. Crews from York, Huntington and Acomb arrived at 1:36 am. Two breathing apparatus and a hose reel were used. The cause remains under investigation.
