A campervan plunged into the water at Kylerhea Narrows on the Isle of Skye, an area known for strong currents. The RNLI lifeboat from Kyle of Lochalsh launched at around 11:40 am and reached the scene within 10 minutes. The sole occupant and his three dogs had already made it ashore safely. Crew members checked the vehicle for trapped persons and remained on site until the Coastguard took over.
