On Wednesday evening, a motorhome caught fire on a residential property on the island of Rolvsøy. Firefighters feared the blaze might spread to a neighbouring house but quickly brought it under control. According to police, popping sounds were heard, likely caused by exploding gas cylinders.
Police do not rule out that the fire may have been deliberately set. A man from Fredrikstad was arrested on Wednesday evening for throwing objects into the fire. The circumstances are under investigation.
