Fire in Karmøy
Several motorhomes caught fire in Karmøy, in the Kopervik area, during the night to Wednesday. The fire spread to an industrial building, which according to one source was used as a motorhome repair workshop. Both the vehicles and the building sustained total damage.
Reports indicate the fire started in one motorhome and spread to several other vehicles before reaching the building. Firefighters reported control over the situation by 01:40, but a re-ignition occurred several hours later with a risk of spreading to a neighbouring structure. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
