2026 Camping and Motorhome Festival in Shijiazhuang
On September 10, a camping and motorhome festival started in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, and will run until September 13. It is organized by the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Shijiazhuang Municipal People's Government. The event takes place on Hutuo River island (also called Hutuo River Art Eco Island) and at five additional venues in the counties of Lingshou, Luquan, Yuanshi, Pingshan and Zanhuang (in some sources — Canghuang).
The program includes an exhibition of motorhomes and camping equipment with models from light to premium, intangible cultural heritage presentations, concerts, a cycling ride along the city greenway (according to one source, a 101-kilometer loop), orienteering and family performances. The opening of the first Jing-Jin-Ji (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei) auto-tourism stations took place, along with the presentation of a camping map and discount programs. Travelers Zhang Xinyu and Liang Hong spoke about trips on Chinese-made motorhomes off-road.
