The municipality of Três Fronteiras in northwestern São Paulo state is becoming a popular destination for motorhome travelers. In March 2025, the local Areia Branca Ecotourism Park hosted a gathering that brought together dozens of recreational vehicles and about 200 travelers from more than 20 Brazilian states. Travelers report a lack of infrastructure: points with water, electricity, and waste disposal are insufficient. The market for adapted vehicles in Brazil is growing due to remote work and interest in long-term travel.
