From June 25 to 28, enthusiasts from around the world gathered in Hessisch Oldendorf, Germany, for the 9th international meeting of air-cooled Volkswagen models. The event featured 'Sofie,' the oldest registered Combi (August 1950), a rare rail-going Combi KLV 20 (1955, only 31 built), and a reconstructed 1946 Plattenwagen. A team from Malaysia drove over 20,000 km to attend. Volkswagen displayed current California models and the ID. Buzz, which has covered 150,000 km across 43 countries. The next gathering is in four years.
