The German Camping Club is hosting an international caravan rally in Karpfham, Bavaria, since July 12. Some 600 caravans and motorhomes have arrived from China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and other nations. The last such event in Germany took place in 2000 in Lechbruck.
On July 1, about 20 motorhomes from various Brazilian regions will arrive in Rancho Alegre do Oeste (Paraná) as part of the Circuito Caminhos do Paraná project. The event runs from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Events Center, with free admission. Visitors can tour the motorhomes and enjoy cultural performances, a fair, and food trucks.
The city of Goioerê (Paraná state) will be one of the stops on the Circuito Caminhos do Paraná, a project that brings together one of the largest caravans of travel trailers and motorhomes in Brazil. The event is organized by the city hall through the Municipal Secretariat of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism. A caravan of about 20 motorhomes will arrive on July 2, 2026. The motorhomes will be parked at Praça da Igreja Matriz, open for public visits. The program includes cultural performances, a fair, food trucks, and a craft and local products exhibition. Environmental actions are also planned: tree planting and lectures for schoolchildren on caravanning and ecology.
The organizers of Salone del Camper in Parma have announced a partnership with the BikeUP brand. As part of the collaboration, BikeUP Travel Days will take place from September 12 to 20, 2026, focusing on cycling tourism and e-bikes. A separate BikeUP Festival will be held on September 19-20 in the Cittadella park, where the BikeUP Cargo Days area will debut, dedicated to cargo bikes and urban mobility.
More than 800 RV owners from across the United States and Canada gathered at the Missouri State Fairgrounds. The event was organized by the Family RV Association as its first international convention.
Bupati (regent) of Batang Hari, Muhammad Fadhil Arief, officially opened the 5th Camping Bareng Se-Sumatera event organized by Campervan Indonesia at Taman Tapah Malenggang. The two-day gathering on June 27–28, 2026, attracted hundreds of Campervan Indonesia members from across the country. The event aimed to strengthen fellowship among campervan enthusiasts, share experiences, and expand community networks. The regent expressed hope that the event would boost local tourism and the economy.
From July 6 to 12, 2026, the Maran Ata Landsstevne will be held in Seljord, Norway. Organizers state that the Dyrskuplassen site can accommodate up to 3500 motorhomes. The highest attendance is expected towards the end of the week. Hotel accommodation is nearly unavailable, with camping being the primary option.
As part of the 2026 Şeyh Edebali Year events, Kınık Village in Pazaryeri district of Bilecik will host the second 'Let's Meet in Kınık' Camp Caravan Event from July 3 to 8. The free event is expected to bring together hundreds of camping and caravan enthusiasts from across Turkey. The program includes caravan and tent camping, cycling, motorcycling, fishing, and nature walks. Organizers anticipate over 500 caravans and 200 tents, along with concerts, competitions, and a local products fair.
Europe's largest Land Rover gathering will take place from September 4 to 6 at the Inatel campsite in Viana do Castelo. Around 1,200 vehicles and 3,500 participants from Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Germany, the UK, Belgium, and the USA are expected. The 22-year-old LandMania club, with over 7,000 members, will relocate its headquarters to the city after the event. The program includes environmental clean-ups, charity drives, and a teaser for an augmented reality experience aimed at younger audiences.
The Harley Days Willingen festival, taking place from 8 to 13 July 2026 in Willingen (Upland), offers a dedicated RV parking area. Only motorhomes, travel trailers, and cars with roof tents are allowed; tents are prohibited. No hookups for electricity, water, or sewage are available; self-contained camping is required. Booking is exclusively online, with payment on site.
The Ulsan Children's Reading Center will run a family reading festival 'Summer Star Sea' from July 25 to 30. Activities include workshops, lectures, and overnight stays in caravans with stargazing. Registration opens June 29.
On June 27–28, 2026, the 15th Liaoning Outdoor Sports Conference and RV Camping Culture Festival took place in Liaoning Province, China, organized by Liaoning Yaotaiyang Outdoor Sports. The event attracted 1,000 participants and featured daytime sports (frisbee, baseball, flag football) and nighttime activities (concert, glow run). A dedicated RV display area allowed visitors to explore motorhome layouts and amenities.
On June 27, the 2026 National Automobile (RV) Camping Rally opened at Jinfo Mountain in Nanchuan, Chongqing. Over 200 drivers with 100 vehicles from 10 provinces participated. The route follows the 'Greater Jinfo Mountain 178' scenic drive, featuring 10 natural wonders. Competitors are divided into three groups: cars, new energy vehicles, and motorhomes. Stage one covers 131 km, stage two 65 km. Participants receive free admission to three major scenic areas.
On June 27, the largest camper van festival in the Hokuriku region began at the Ishikawa Industrial Exhibition Hall in Kanazawa. About 100 vehicles are on display, ranging from the latest models to used ones. Organizers highlight growing interest in camper vans as mobile offices for remote work and as emergency shelters. The event continues on June 28 and includes a support corner for the Noto region.
The Great Pool Camp (THE GRATEFUL CAMP 2026) will take place from September 4 to 6, 2026, at Jjang bluespotted mud hopper Beach in Sinan, Jeollanam-do, combining camping with live music. The fifth edition features a lineup including Shintaro Sakamoto, yoga sessions, and sports events, with a stay-at-home format where attendees camp on-site. Organizers emphasize the festival's focus on community and immersive experience over large-scale commercial events.
The Campistas Raiz group has organized a gathering of 50 motorhomes in Cassilândia, Mato Grosso do Sul. Participants follow a 'empty fridge' policy, buying all supplies locally. The event is estimated to contribute around R$ 50,000 to the local economy over four days, with an average spend of R$ 1,000 per vehicle.
The VWN’co association is organizing its second annual vintage vehicle rally at Rimbaud Park in Bagnols-sur-Cèze from June 26 to 28. The event features cars and caravans from before the 1990s, a market, games, pin-up performances, and a disco party. In 2025, 85 vehicles were displayed; organizers hope for 150 this year but cite heat and fuel prices as potential factors. Admission is free.
The Agonya Şenliği 2026 festival will take place on August 7–9 in Akçakoyun village, Yenice district, Çanakkale province. It is organized by the Çanakkale Camping and Caravan Association (ÇAKKAD). The program includes concerts, folk dances, workshops, hiking, excursions, sports competitions, and strawberry picking. Caravan owners: 600 TL per night (up to 2 people), 1000 TL for two nights. Motorcyclists: 400 TL per night, 600 TL for two nights, second person in the same tent gets 50% off. Day entry without overnight stay: 400 TL, second spouse gets 50% off. Children under 15 are free. Organizers of the Nature One 2026 festival at the former Pydna missile base in Kastellaun have published a detailed camping guide. Three zones are available: CampingVillage (lively, with vehicle access for motorhomes, caravans, and trailers up to 3.5 t), SilentCamp (quiet, with night silence from 10 p.m., no vehicle access on site but separate parking), and EasyCamp (pre-pitched tents by FestiTent). Prices: CampingVillage tickets from €25 to €50 plus €10 garbage deposit; SilentCamp €109 per person; caravan pitch in SilentCamp €159. Strict rules apply: no open fires, drones, weapons, or pyrotechnics; sound systems limited to 3 kW and 95 dBA; generators allowed only in CampingVillage.
