Exhibition and participants
The Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026 took place on July 11–12 at Tokyo Big Sight (East 7 and 8 halls). According to organizers, 238 vehicles from over 100 companies were presented (other sources mention about 220 vehicles).
Program and entertainment
Performances included actor Shunsuke Nakamura (winner of the 14th Camping Car Award), comedians from Panther and Jungle Pocket, and wrestlers KUSHIDA and Master Wato. Lectures on disaster prevention and a symposium on integrating RVs into municipal management were scheduled. The first 3,000 visitors each day received free "Kani Scone" cookies from Sanritsu Seika.
Market and prices
Camper sales in 2025 declined due to chassis shortages, but interest remains. Popular models include "benkons" based on HiAce (2,351 units), "kabukons" (1,542 units), "basukons" (216 units), and light campers (144 units). Manufacturers increasingly use used vehicles and simplified trims. Admission: adult ticket 800 yen, child ticket 500 yen, preschoolers free.
