The 27th Shanghai International RV Show (RVSHOW) opened on August 22, 2026, at the Shanghai Automobile Convention Center and runs through August 24. Organizer: Lucheng Road × RV Travel. The exhibition area grew by 20%, the number of exhibitors by 30%, and first-day attendance by 30% compared with the same period last year.
According to organizers, in the first half of 2026, China registered 12,153 new self-propelled RVs (+32.6% YoY), of which 5,315 were campers (+64.2%). Sales of new-energy RVs reached 2,240 units, with penetration at 18.4% (vs. 0.3% in H1 2023). RV exports grew over 20% in value. Trailer caravan exports totaled about 21,036 units worth 264 million US dollars, with an average price of 12,550 dollars per unit (+34.1% vs. 2024). China has become the largest RV market in Asia and the world's third-largest producer.
The show will feature four key events, including a seminar on new regulations and new-energy technologies.
