Dominique converted a 2022 AWD Ford Transit 350 HD into a camper van to drive the Pan-American Highway from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, to Ushuaia, Argentina. The core route is 16,000 to 19,000 miles (25,750 to 30,577 km) and takes one to two years. The build took 18 months; she has already driven to Mexico. The van features a 2-inch lift, a 12,000 lb winch, a 600 W solar array, a 900 Ah battery, a 3,000 W inverter, a 35-gallon freshwater tank, an Esparⓘ diesel heater tested at -40°C, and a Nature's Head composting toilet.
