Custom Crafted Vans, based in Boise, Idaho, has completed its 59th project, a camper van conversion based on an AWD Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 with a 170-inch wheelbase. The interior features a motorized platform bed, a kitchen with an oven and refrigerator, a bathroom without a toilet, and an electrical system with an 810 Ah battery bank and a 3,000 W inverter. Power comes from 400 W solar panels, shore power, and alternator charging. The owners plan to take the vehicle to Alaska.
