Namu Kombi Home, based in Guarulhos, São Paulo, has adapted nearly 150 Volkswagen Kombi vehicles into living spaces, generating R$ 800,000 in revenue in 2024. Founders Nathália Custódio and Murillo Átilla started with an R$ 8,000 investment, building their first vehicle for personal use before moving to custom orders. The company now completes up to four projects per month, including mobile podcast studios and themed interiors, using a CNC machine to speed up production.
