A British company has developed a compact micro-caravan module, originally a pop-up roof unit for a Tesla Model 3, which evolved into a universal trailer. The founder tested the 150 kg prototype on a 5,600 km trip across Iceland, achieving an average consumption of 308 Wh/mi. The final product, the Dashaway eCT trailer, weighs 340 kg, reduces an EV's range by less than 10%, and is scheduled for launch in February 2026 with a starting price of £26,225.
