Japanese comedian Kanno Eiko (44) on January 11, 2026 published a YouTube video in which he drove his recently completed custom camper based on a Suzuki Every through his hometown Kurihara (Miyagi Prefecture). He drove himself and visited a school, a shopping street, a pachinko parlor and a CD store where he bought his first disc — the soundtrack to Final Fantasy. He ended with lunch at a local eatery serving bear soba and udon. The video drew comments thanking him for promoting the region.
The vehicle is named 'EIKO GO'. Its exterior is styled after the 'Machine X' car from the 1980s TV series 'Western Police'. The front end took about six months to build. Inside, cherry leather seats are installed; the rear seats fold into a completely flat surface that can accommodate a person 175 cm tall. The camper is equipped with a monitor, Wi-Fi and outlets for game streaming.
