Canadian couple Tanya Nestoruk and Arya Touserkani sold their four-bedroom house and moved into a converted van, but limited space and comfort prompted them to seek an alternative. They purchased a used school bus on Facebook Marketplace for about $7,200 (€6,400). The conversion took 12 months instead of the planned six and cost an additional €26,800, with most of the work done by the couple themselves. The bus now features a lounge with a custom sofa bed, a bedroom with a king-size bed, a kitchen with a three-burner stove and oven, a separate bathroom, a washing machine, a dishwasher, solar panels and a motorcycle rack.
