Somerset Council's planning committee unanimously voted to allow the expansion of the Cutters Combe touring caravan site between Bridgwater and the Quantock Hills. The site, originally approved for five touring caravans or campervans in 2024, doubled in size without planning permission. Enmore Parish Council objected, citing "flagrant disregard for planning policy," but the committee deemed the proposal "sensible and proportional." Because the plans are retrospective, the development is exempt from the 10% biodiversity net gain requirement.

Guy Williams, a former surveyor from Bristol, founded The Fat Pony Workshop and converted a 2002 Ford Iveco Cargo truck into a modular camper with a jacuzzi.
