Brazilian couple Davi and Paula, who run the channel "Vida na Estrada," bought a 2009 Iveco City Class school bus in July 2023 and spent 14 months converting it into a motorhome. They removed seats, floors, and extra windows, reinforced the chassis with welding, treated the body against corrosion, and insulated the floor. Inside, they installed modular furniture, a kitchen with a foldable stove, a bathroom with a roller door, a sleeping area, solar panels, and a rooftop viewing deck.
The project was made possible by learning on the go, including welding. The couple sold the motorhome to move on to a project of traveling in a four-wheel-drive Land Cruiser Prado for a trip to Alaska.
