German company Weiro offers construction trailers certified for speeds up to 100 km/h that can be used as a camper. Models ranging from 3.5 to 7 meters in length are available either as a DIY project or fully equipped.
The basic model without insulation starts at 4500 euros (according to other sources, from 6000 euros). A fully equipped leisure caravan costs from 14,480 euros, while winter-ready versions can exceed 25,000 euros. The trailers feature a standard ball coupling, overrun brake, and shock absorbers. The interior height under the barrel-shaped roof is 2.30 m. Custom furniture, kitchen, and bathroom installations are possible.
The angular shape is noted to worsen aerodynamics, increasing fuel consumption.
