KRUG Expedition has unveiled an expedition motorhome based on a decommissioned Stewart & Stevenson M1078A1 army truck. The 4.9-meter living module includes a double bed, a kitchen with an induction hob and Miele microwave, and a separate bathroom with shower and dry toilet. Power comes from a 24V lithium-ion battery with 990 Ah capacity and a 1400 W solar array; fresh water tank holds 492 liters. The vehicle is powered by a 7.2-liter Caterpillar turbodiesel producing 330 hp and 1166 Nm, enabling off-road use.
