Governador Celso Ramos, a city in Santa Catarina, Brazil, has enacted new regulations restricting motorhomes and imposing fines for pets on beaches. The law, effective from December 4, prohibits motorhomes, trailers, and similar vehicles from parking on public roads, squares, beaches, and dunes, restricting them to private or licensed properties. It also bans domestic animals from beaches and prohibits camping structures, advertising materials, and demarcating spaces on the beachfront, with fines ranging from 10 to 20 Municipal Fiscal Units (approximately R$1,569 to R$3,138).
