In the Hakha-dong district of Daejeon, owners of motorhomes and caravans have been occupying free public parking spaces for months, depriving local residents of parking. A dedicated paid parking lot for such vehicles, built with public funds, exists nearby but is underused. Local authorities claim they cannot forcibly tow the vehicles, despite a 2025 law that allows towing after one month of continuous parking.
