Andorran police have begun fining owners of motorhomes and camper vans for overnight stays or camping outside designated areas. The fine is €600, halved if paid on the spot; non-payment leads to vehicle immobilization. The measure, adopted by the Ministry of Tourism and Trade after a 2025 transition period, aims to free up public parking and enforce tourist tax collection. The country offers 350 authorized overnight spots, including campsites and designated zones, but users report insufficient infrastructure and warn of a potential drop in visitor numbers.
