At Geumneung (Geumnyeong) Beach on Jeju Island, tourists and residents are complaining about campervans that occupy the best parking spots for extended periods, blocking access for other visitors. One visitor reported on social media that a campervan remained in the same spot for over 30 hours, and its owners did not respond to requests to move.
According to sources, about six such campervans have been observed at the beach. The administration can only take action if parking exceeds one month, limiting control. A similar situation is seen at Iho Tewoo Beach, where about 30 campervans are parked on private land. Local authorities said they will investigate but noted there is no direct ban on long-term campervan parking at the beach.
