The city of Ghent is introducing an overnight parking ban for motorhomes and campers at the Park&Ride (P+R) at Muide. The ban applies from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Mobility alderman Joris Vandenbroucke stated that the free P+R lots are intended for visitors transferring to trams or buses, not for long-term motorhome parking. A similar ban already exists at the P+R in Gentbrugge. The start date for the new restriction has not yet been announced.
