Cyngor Gwynedd has confirmed it will replace a height barrier at Beach Road East car park in Bangor after residents complained about camper vans occupying the site. The barrier was removed when the car park was used as a compound during coastal defence and Dŵr Cymru works, and the entrance was widened and layout altered. The council urged motorists to park responsibly and respectfully, adding that the new height restriction barrier will be installed once further work is completed in the coming weeks. It also pointed motorhome users to dedicated Arosfan overnight stop sites.
