An illegal campsite was discovered in the sanitary zone of the Yovkovtsi reservoir, near the village of Shilkovtsi, Elena municipality. Camper burns on shore of Kardzhali Reservoir

A Fiat camper parked on the shore of the Kardzhali Reservoir caught fire yesterday around 4 p.m. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which destroyed the vehicle and personal documents. Preliminary cause: an electrical appliance left on. Firefighters from Podkova also put out burning shrubs and waste near a holiday village by Druzhintsi village, and dry grass near a pumping station in Momchilgrad. In Momchilgrad, rescuers captured a snake in a garage and released it in a safe location.
