Starting July 1, the Namdong Industrial Complex No. 2 public parking lot in Incheon, South Korea, will operate as a mixed-use facility, with 54 of its 197 spaces reserved for motorhomes and caravans. Applications are open from June 10 to 15, with winners selected by random draw. The parking will initially run on a six-month basis, switching to annual from 2027. Oversized vehicles will pay 60,000 won per month (1.5 times the standard rate).
The Carolina Coastal Motorcoach Resort near Holden Beach, North Carolina, will feature about 90 motorcoach lots with optional casitas—small house-like structures. Amenities include a clubhouse, pool, and pickleball courts on a 17-acre lake. Owners can live year-round in both RV and casita. Opening is set for September 2026.
A new caravan park, Çökertme Tekila (Tequila), has opened in Çökertme Bay on the Aegean coast. The park provides pitches for motorhomes with electricity and water hookups, as well as tent camping areas. It also features a restaurant serving Aegean cuisine. The park targets tourists traveling by motorhome or tent and is located near Bodrum and Milas.
At Happy farm near Källby, Sweden, along road 44, motorhome pitches, a waffle café, play areas, and a petting zoo are now available. Owners Ulf and Vanessa Karlsson describe the venture as their vacation. The site draws visitors from near and far.
St Helens Council has approved a planning application to convert a former horse manège at Heathfield Farm in Widnes into storage for up to 22 touring caravans. The site, which had been used informally as a car park since 2019, will now serve as secure caravan storage. The planning officer determined the change would not harm the area's visual appeal or residents' tranquillity, and the Highways Advisor raised no objection, noting no increased risk to highway safety. Strict conditions have been attached to the permission, including limiting use to caravan storage only.
On May 29, 2026, the municipality of Saint-Gelais (Deux-Sèvres) officially inaugurated a motorhome stopover located at 1, impasse des Trémardières, adjacent to the Prairie de la Futaie. The facility, which has been in operation since March 2026, is managed by the Camping-Car Park network and offers 14 pitches. The stopover was created to meet the demand of passing tourists.
The Villaviciosa City Council has approved a plan to create a motorhome area at the local campsite. The project includes 50 spaces for transit motorhomes with full services. The new area will be private and paid, unlike the municipal area in El Salín with 8 spaces opened in 2024. The decision aims to meet growing demand for motorhome tourism in Asturias.
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is launching the Volkan Konak Caravan Park at Lara Beach. It is the second such facility after the park in Konyaaltı. The park has 121 caravan pitches, green areas, a market, cafeteria, laundry, showers, children's playgrounds, and individual electricity and water connections.
The Freixial Camping Park (Parque de Campismo do Freixial) in the Castelo Branco district has been awarded the Five Star Regions Award in the 'Camping Parks' category for the second consecutive year. The recognition is based on service quality and visitor satisfaction. Located near the village of Penamacor, close to the Spanish border, the park is set in a natural area adjacent to the Serra da Malcata Nature Reserve. It operates annually from June to September; the bar and restaurant are temporarily closed, with reopening expected soon.
The Winterhafen motorhome parking in Magdeburg, located next to the yacht harbor, has been named one of the most popular in Europe by the portal Stellplatz.info. Survey respondents praised its convenient location and facilities. The site is noted for consistent demand among travelers.
The Aveiro City Council announced that the renovation project for the São Jacinto campsite has received approval from the Court of Auditors (TC) and is ready for tender. The renovation projects for the EB 2,3 São Bernardo school and the Cacia pool/exhibition complex also received approval. Mayor Luís Souto stated during a public meeting on Friday that the campsite contractor has been notified, with a 30-day period to sign the contract, after which work is expected to be completed in seven months.

The Japan RV Association (JRVA) certified 10 new overnight parking spots in May 2026. The total number of RV Parks nationwide reached 644 as of June 1.

The former Flagstop Resort & RV Park at Milford Lake, Kansas, has been rebranded as Milford Lake KOA Holiday. Owners renovated all RV sites, added a new bathhouse and laundry facility. New amenities include a dog area called the Paw Pen, sand volleyball, and a large jumping pillow. Deluxe RV sites now come with outdoor furniture and grills.
The Ruppert family has started building a complex of 12 tiny houses (60 sqm each) on the Zummethöhe hill in Leiwen. The project includes an underground car park, a wellness center with a pool, a wine shop, and a chapel. Completion is scheduled for 2028, with investments in the high single-digit millions.
The city and the garden show company are advancing plans to create a glamping area in Maifischgraben after the 2028 Landesgartenschau. A key funding question remains unresolved.

Unhitched Management, the hospitality and operations division of Unhitched RV, has taken over management of Orange Grove RV Park in Bakersfield, California. The park offers 242 sites, including 177 full-hookup sites, and features a swimming pool, laundry facilities, and 24-hour security. The new operator plans immediate improvements to curb appeal and guest services.
Plans to diversify a National Trust campsite on the Pembrokeshire coast, with seasonal siting for campervans and 'landpods', have been approved. The 4.5-hectare site at Gupton Farm, near Freshwater West, will operate as a seasonal campsite with five landpods and 20 campervans, while maintaining the existing overall capacity of 100 people and 50 pitches per night. Landpods will be removed from the site during December, January, and February.
A motorhome parking area with 30 spaces has opened in Boiensdorf, operating from Easter to mid-October. Overnight cost in high season is 15 EUR, including two adults and children. Additional fees: water 20 cents per 10 liters, gray water disposal 2 EUR, electricity 2 EUR per day, cassette toilet disposal 2 EUR, toilet use 50 cents. No Wi-Fi; dogs allowed. Nearby beach suitable for sailing and surfing.
A new motorhome area with 16 pitches has opened in Aubigny-Les Clouzeaux, Vendée. It offers water, electricity, Wi-Fi, waste disposal, and is accessible 24/7 year-round. Located on the route between Puy du Fou and the ocean, the facility is expected to boost local tourism. Operator Camping-Car Park reports average user spending of €56, with €44 going to local businesses.
Mill Farm Camping and Caravan Park in Fiddington has applied to add 100 pitches for power station staff. The site currently houses Hinkley Point C workers in caravans. Somerset Council is expected to decide by early autumn.
