At the Toscana Promozione Turistica booth, visitors will find itineraries, including routes dedicated to Giacomo Puccini, as well as new models for the 2026/2027 season from companies like Laika and Giottiline.

Buying a new motorhome in 2026 will be expensive, but a few models remain under €65,000. The cheapest is the Bürstner Papillon PC 6.0 at €56,590 (including taxes), followed by the GiottiLine GiottiVan 60 Be Young (from €55,950 excluding BPM) and the Citroën Holidays (from €64,100). All three have distinct features: the Papillon offers basic equipment and a fold-away bathroom, the GiottiVan has four berths and a diesel engine, and the Holidays is compact with an optional Max pack. From 2026, Dutch motorhome tax rates will rise, increasing annual costs.
In the first quarter of 2026, Tuscan motorhome exports rose by 5.5% to €252 million, signaling a recovery after a weak 2025. Growth was seen in Germany (+€20.7 million) and the Czech Republic (+€2.6 million), while shipments to the UK fell by €12.4 million. In Italy, 4,048 new motorhomes were registered in the first four months (+14.7%), while caravan sales declined by 1.2% to 169 units. In 2025, the Italian market grew by 10.5% (nearly 8,000 registrations), but Tuscan manufacturers, including Laika, Trigano, and GiottiLine, suffered from a 10.9% drop in exports.
Italian manufacturer Giottiline has unveiled the new Siena 340 profile motorhome, measuring 5.99 m in length and 2.32 m in width, built on a Stellantis chassis (Fiat, Peugeot or Citroën). Pricing has not been announced. The interior features two front seats, a toilet room with a pivoting wall, a wardrobe, a 140-litre compressor fridge and a two-burner gas hob. At the rear, a large U-shaped lounge converts into a double bed and includes two certified car seats. An electrically lowering ceiling bed is also available. A removable front table is standard, with an optional swivel TV mount. The storage compartment is located under the rear bench. Optional packages include Sport, Privilège and Première Edition.

Italian manufacturer GiottiLine (part of Rapido Group) unveiled the compact CX69 motorhome on a Stellantis chassis. Length 6.99 m, width 2.15 m, height 2.88 m. Available in Sport, Privilège and Première Edition packages.
Italian brand Giottiline, part of the Rapido Group, has introduced two new compact motorhome models: CX 64 and CX 69. Both are 2.15 m wide, 15–20 cm narrower than standard semi-integrated models. The 6.45 m CX 64 features a lounge with two longitudinal sofas, an electrically lowering bed (1.82 m), and a large rear bathroom. The 6.99 m CX 69 offers a queen-size bed, a combined bathroom, and a compact kitchen. Prices start at €58,700.
Italian manufacturer Giottiline has introduced the second model of its 'Be Young' special edition, the Giottivan 54 TY. Based on the Citroën Jumper or Peugeot Boxer, the 5.41-metre camper van comes with a Truma Combi gas heater, compressor fridge, awning, and Easy Clean upholstery. The base price starts at €46,800.
Giottiline has introduced the Toscan 69 XF (2027), a partially integrated motorhome measuring 6.99 m in length and 2.32 m in width. Instead of traditional rear beds, it features a spacious lounge area with two longitudinal sofas and a full-width bathroom. Sleeping arrangements include a drop-down bed (145/125 x 190 cm) and a convertible seating area (153/105 x 200 cm). The model is aimed at couples and long-term travelers, but is not suitable for those requiring a fixed rear bed.
Mountaineer Hervé Barmasse has started the Endurance Italia expedition, combining mountaineering, cycling and trail running. The route covers over 6,000 km with 90,000 meters of elevation gain in 30 days. A Giottiline Toscan 74 NF motorhome serves as the mobile base, provided by the Italian manufacturer. The project started from Cala Gonone (Sardinia) and will end in Trieste.

Habitability has significantly improved over the past two years. These models are 15–25 cm narrower than standard profiled motorhomes, but lengths vary to accommodate sleeping areas (double, twin beds), transformable bathrooms, and pass-through garages. Three new camper van models priced under €50,000 have appeared on the market. The Bürstner Papillon starts at €41,510, Chausson and Challenger introduced versions at €48,990 and €49,490, and the Giottiline 60 Be Young is priced at €49,900. To achieve these prices, manufacturers used 120 hp engines instead of 140 hp and simplified equipment.
