SOD Rise 4×4: Unimog-based motorhome with detachable living module

German company SOD has created the Rise 4×4 off-road motorhome based on the Mercedes-Benz Unimog U5032. The model features a diesel engine with up to 400 hp, weighs around 14 tons, and includes a detachable living module with full self-sufficient amenities. The project's price starts at approximately 1 million euros.

German company Sod has unveiled the Sod Peak 6×6 motorhome based on a Mercedes-Benz Arocs truck. The vehicle weighs 33 tons and is powered by a 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 578 hp, with 6×6 all-wheel drive and a luxurious interior. The price for a custom-built version can reach 2-3 million euros.

German company VARIOmobil has unveiled the Vario Perfect 1200 Platinum, a motorhome built on a Mercedes Actros 2553 LLL truck. The 26-tonne, 12-metre-long vehicle features a 12.8-litre turbodiesel producing 530 hp and 2600 Nm of torque. Its garage can accommodate a car such as a Porsche 911 or motorcycles. Depending on the level of customisation, the price ranges from 2 to 3 million euros, with up to 14,000 hours of work invested in production.
