In Brief

Square Glade Games and Silver Lining Interactive released Outbound on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. The digital version is available from May 15, 2026; physical editions in Japan arrive June 25 via SEGA.

On May 15, 2026, the motorhome adventure Outbound launched on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. It was previously available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and Xbox Series X|S since May 11.

The game supports up to 4-player online co-op, lets players customize their motorhome, add a second floor, practice rooftop gardening, and use solar and wind energy. A paid DLC, Schoolbus Adventures, adds a school bus as a drivable vehicle. Physical editions for PS5, Switch, and Switch 2 in Japan will be published by SEGA on June 25, 2026.

On Steam, the game holds a 71% positive rating from 662 reviews: praised for its concept and co-op play, but criticized for resource grinding and monotony in single-player mode.
