Family camper QUARIS based on Toyota HiAce: black interior and pull-out shower

Wood Design Park Ichinomiya -Tsumugi- in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, offers day-use camper van rentals with BBQ, no overnight stay required. The service is limited to two groups per day, and a new beige exterior color has been introduced. The facility is a 40-minute drive from Nagoya.

The DRIMO portal has compiled a selection of seven roadside stations (michi-no-eki) in Niigata Prefecture where travelers can take a daytime bath or sleep in their vehicle. The stations feature onsen, free foot baths, and 24-hour restrooms. Some facilities, such as Michi-no-eki Asahi and Michi-no-eki Sekikawa, also offer camping zones and parks. The selection is based on data current as of August 2025.

Japanese company Green Energy & Company has started selling the ASOBOX Villa caravan, enabling a luxury hotel to be launched in 4 months instead of 1.5–2 years. The model bypasses building codes and suits restricted sites.

Isuzu A&S has unveiled the GeoRoam camper at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, built on the Be-cam chassis. The model features a natural wood and tile interior reminiscent of a West Coast select shop. Price starts at 21.78 million yen.

Direct Cars (Suzuka, Mie Prefecture) will present a camper built on a Daihatsu Hijet Truck in collaboration with workwear brand Dickies at the Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026 (July 11–12, Tokyo Big Sight). The model seats four and sleeps up to three, and comes standard with a kitchen unit, refrigerator, lithium-ion battery (200 Ah), and 2000 W inverter. Sales will be limited from July 11, 2026, to June 28, 2027.
