Longde County in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China, is experiencing a surge in summer tourism thanks to its mild climate and growing RV infrastructure. The campsite at Hongya market provides parking spaces, water supply, electricity and electric vehicle charging stations. Average temperatures hover around 18°C, drawing travelers escaping the heat elsewhere.
According to local authorities, this new form of leisure is shifting tourism from transit stops to longer stays and wellness travel. Dozens of RVs from various Chinese provinces have already set up at the site.
