The opening of a new 25-space motorhome area in Montbron has been postponed to September or October due to construction delays. The delay was caused by electrical issues: a temporary connection would have cost €8,000, which the municipality declined. A permanent connection, costing €50,000, will be installed by the Syndicat Départemental d'Électricité et de Gaz de la Charente. The site will be managed by Camping-Car Park, which will receive two-thirds of overnight revenue, while the community will collect the tourist tax.
