The Archuleta County Planning Commission voted unanimously to table its decision on a proposed recreational vehicle (RV) park during its regular meeting held on July 23. The proposal, submitted by property owner Kevin O’Brien, seeks a board conditional use permit to operate a 20-site RV park on his ranch at 6116 U.S. 84, currently zoned agricultural ranching. Each site would measure 45 feet by 75 feet and include potable water, electricity hookups, and a fire ring. The commission tabled the matter after members said they had not received the staff presentation materials in advance, which were not posted online.
