The Minami Aso Field Hotel opened on May 30 in Minami Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture. The 20,000 sqm site features 31 trailer houses and 3 dome tents, with facilities including a pool, barbecue area, Italian restaurant, and separate dog runs for small/medium and large dogs. The hotel also includes the Ki-no-ka-yu hot spring, which reopened in March after being damaged in the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake.
