In Swanton, Ohio, the new Superior Made RV Resort has opened after the land was sold to Metroparks Toledo. The site previously housed the Big Sandy campground for decades. The new owners, the Lawson family, describe their business as the first African American-owned RV resort in Ohio. The campground offers 200 sites, including seasonal and overnight spots, and will operate through mid-October.
