Gulf State Park in Alabama announced the opening of its new RV resort on Monday. The expansion added 103 campsites with modern hookups, a clubhouse, pool, pickleball courts, and other amenities. The park now has 607 RV sites, making it the largest state park-operated RV campground in the U.S. The project was funded by an $85 million state parks investment approved by Alabama voters in 2022.
