Tsukuru Jisho opened a fully rented villa 'Umi to Mori to Yado mina-to' in Futtsu, Chiba on April 20. The property accommodates up to 12 guests, located about 90 minutes by car from Tokyo. Rather than demolishing the 1968-built house, the company preserved it and added two wooden travel trailers, a Finnish sauna, and a pool. Rates start at ¥80,000 per night. The project aims to repurpose vacant houses and land by combining preserved structures with mobile trailers for flexible, expandable use.
