The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park development management committee has approved an application by Haven Leisure Limited for 12 additional caravans at Lydstep Beach Village. The expansion will increase the number of pitches from 471 to 483 and, according to the applicant, will help retain 123 jobs.
The project includes 11 units in the South of Pine Tree area and one in North of Haven Crest, along with associated infrastructure. Officials described the development as a modest infill within the existing park, not extending beyond its boundaries. Objections were raised by two community councils, and the proposal was noted to conflict with the local development plan.
