A property owner has applied to rezone 31.37 acres along US Highway 441 in Ocala, Florida, for a 173-lot RV park and manufactured home development. The project, tentatively named SR 441 Small Retail and RV Park, includes 133 RV spaces and 40 park model or manufactured home lots, plus two commercial outparcels. The Marion County Planning & Zoning Commission will review the application on July 27. Planning staff recommends approval, citing compatibility with adjacent uses.
