Motorhome area modernized in Bayeux

A convoy of about a hundred caravans belonging to travelers illegally set up on the lawn of the football stadium in Herrlisheim. Local authorities recorded the unauthorized occupation of the territory. The incident occurred at the football club's stadium.

Approximately 150 caravans illegally occupied the Lavières site in Brottes on May 25. Members of local associations report litter, a damaged fence, and excrement. The president of the aeromodelling club fears for the condition of the recently renovated runway. Departure is scheduled for June 1; otherwise, the mayor will take necessary measures.

On May 31, about 80 caravans occupied football fields in Saint-Andiol, while over 250 caravans took over private land in Entrelacs. Mayors expressed dissatisfaction, police are monitoring.

On Sunday afternoon, dozens of caravans from the traveling community occupied the lawn of Raymond Durand municipal park in Chaponnay, disrupting traffic in the town. About 150 caravans blocked several intersections on Corbas road, forcing residents to find alternative routes. Mayor Nicolas Varigny filed a complaint and discussed possible measures with the prefecture, while the travelers stated their intention to stay for 15 days, raising concerns due to planned events in the park.
