Five women in Missouri purchased a used RV for a homeless man and his dog they encountered under an overpass in Jefferson County. The initiative began in February 2026 with a fundraising campaign that temporarily housed the man in a hotel. The effort then expanded, and with donations and some of their own money, the women bought the RV.
The man has been homeless since 2013. In addition to housing, the women helped him secure a job at a dog daycare (pet hotel).
