The Hajos family from Cluj-Napoca, together with three children and a dog, is travelling by motorhome with Romanian plates across Asia. They have covered about 20,000 km through Europe and Central Asia and are now in China.
Plans and costs
- The family next plans to visit Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
- According to the family, living on the road costs less than at home, thanks to cheap food and fuel in Asia and the use of solar panels.
- To enter China, Chinese plates and permits were required, and the paperwork took about five hours at the border.
